Yes. Every item gets a location like Garage → Top Shelf. When you can’t find something, search the name and the app tells you where it is.

Yes. Name each bin, scan items inside with a photo, review what AI finds, and search the contents later. Locations can be created up to 3 levels deep, such as Garage → Shelf → Bin.

Yes. The app is designed to be simple, with no complex setup or required structure — it offloads the mental work of remembering where things are. LivingLedger is not a medical product and does not treat or diagnose any condition.

Yes. LivingLedger includes structured expiration tracking. You can enable expiration dates for categories where expiration matters, such as pantry items, supplements, and household supplies.

Yes. Search is the primary way you use the app. Type any word and you’ll see matching items with their locations.

Locations can be created up to 3 levels deep, such as Garage → Shelf → Bin.

Not yet. LivingLedger is single-user today, and shared household inventories are on the roadmap.

LivingLedger has a Free plan with unlimited manual items and 50 lifetime AI scan credits. Each AI photo scan uses 1 credit. Pro unlocks unlimited AI scanning for personal household use.

Yes. The Free plan includes unlimited manual items plus 50 lifetime AI scan credits. Each AI photo scan uses 1 credit. Pro unlocks unlimited AI scanning for personal household use, subject to fair-use limits.

You keep your saved inventory. If you cancel Pro, your account moves back to the Free plan at the end of your billing period. You can still view, search, and manually manage your inventory. Pro only controls unlimited AI scanning.

Yes. Export is currently handled by request. Email support@livingledger.net and we’ll help provide a full export of your data. Self-serve export is on the roadmap.

Yes. You can delete your account and associated data yourself from the Account page in the app anytime. You may also email support@livingledger.net if you need help.

Yes. The app is built around three actions: add an item, give it a location, and search for it later. There is no complicated setup or required system.

Your inventory is available offline once you’ve signed in. You can add and edit items manually while offline — they’ll sync automatically when you reconnect. AI scanning, photo uploads, and syncing across devices require an internet connection.

LivingLedger is available on the App Store for iPhone and iPad, and as a web app at inventory.livingledger.net for desktop and Android Chrome.

Yes. On Android, LivingLedger runs as a web app in Chrome — there’s no native Play Store app, but you can open it in your browser, sign in, and use your full inventory. You can also add it to your home screen so it opens like an app.

Yes. You don’t need an iPhone, or any Apple device. Alongside the native iOS app, LivingLedger runs as a web app in modern browsers, so you can create an account and use your full inventory from an Android phone, a Windows PC, a Chromebook, or a Mac.

Yes. LivingLedger has no social features and no ads. Your inventory is stored securely with Firebase Auth and App Check. We do not sell your data.
