We built LivingLedger because we know how exhausting it feels to lose things you already own, rebuy duplicates, and carry the mental load of trying to remember where everything is.
The honest reason this app exists is small and specific: too many trips to the store for things that were already in a bin in the garage. Too many drawers full of duplicates. Too many afternoons spent looking instead of doing.
LivingLedger is the system, without the spreadsheet — designed to help you find what you own, remember where it belongs, and feel more in control of your home.

How LivingLedger is built
A native iOS app and a web app/PWA.
LivingLedger is available as a native iOS app through the Apple App Store and as a web app/PWA in modern browsers. Your inventory can sync across iPhone, iPad, Android Chrome, and modern desktop browsers when you use the same account.
Storage and security: LivingLedger uses Firebase for authentication, database storage, and saved item photos. Firebase App Check helps protect the app from abuse and unauthorized requests. Your account, inventory, and photos are stored with encryption in transit and at rest.
AI scanning: AI photo scanning is powered by Google Gemini. When you scan a photo, the image is sent to Gemini for processing, held only for the duration of the request, then discarded. LivingLedger does not store AI scan photos in its database. LivingLedger does not train AI models on user data.

You can delete your account and associated data yourself from the Account page in the app, anytime. No support email required, no friction.
